The Pleasant Valley community is suffering a tragic loss in the drowning of 14 year old Mike Robinson at band camp. What a talented young man. It was just a couple of months ago I had the pleasure of chaperoning this young musician and my son's group at the Hershey band adjudication where PV and Mike picked up top honors for the middle school jazz band.
I’ll always remember his ad-lib solos and the infectious energy he gave the band. A young man who had a gift...a talent, and who really enjoyed sharing it with the audience.
He will be sorely missed! My sad, sad condolences to his family.

PV Football Fundraiser
The Pleasant Valley Bears football team will be having a fundraiser at Kinsleys supermarket on August 14th from 4pm-8pm. The team will be raffling off a carved bear and will have baked goods for sale. Come out and support the team!
Pleasant Valley's Anthony Bumbulsky bested 18 other regional quarterbacks to win the 2nd Annual Top Gun Challenge sponsored by the US Army which will re-air on July 19th at 1PM on Channel WBRE. Bumbulsky will represent the area at the National Top Gun Challenge in Oklahoma on July 25th.
